The Akademik Běhounek Spa Hotel built in 1975 was again designed to offer complete spa services under one roof. This building with 6 storeys above ground and 3 below ground dominates the skyline above the valley of Jáchymov. Its terraces and balconies offer breathtaking views of the Ore Mountains panorama. A speciality of this sanatorium is the "divanery" for our Arabic clientele. 

Accommodation: The sanatorium provides accommodation for of 243 guests in two categories.
I.A class: 116 double and single bedrooms, from which 6 are barrier-free.
I.A Plus class: 10 single and 29 double bedrooms.

Apart from this there are also 4 comfortable apartments of which one has a kitchen with cooking equipment.

Every room has a balcony, and a bathroom with a shower or a bath, WC, satellite TV, fridge and phone. The rooms of I.A class plus are provided with a bathrobe and are equipped with a build-in safebox and a hair-drier. 

Therapy: There is a non-stop in-house medical service. The complete medical services and therapeutic procedures are provided even to patients with severe afflictions. 

Meals: Breakfasts, lunches and dinners are served in two spacious dining rooms. 

Services: Clients can use a car park with surveillance, non-stop Reception Desk service with safe-deposit, Currency Exchange point, swimming pool, library, hair-dresser, beauty parlour and a chiropodist, well-equipped fitness centre and sauna are available but only after medical consultation.
